These were still the times when Olive Oil was transported abroad in Sailing Vessels and was eventually stored in wooded 700kg Barrels. Since that time Santagata has produced and sold the best olive oils ,mainly selecting extra virgin oils to satisfie the requests from their clients in that time around the Ligurian area of Italy.
