Fruttibosco is a small co-operative in the village of
Tarsogno,situated in the Appenine Mountains in
Northern Italy.It is surronded by forests of Beech and
Chestnut that are renowned for the best Porcini Mushrooms
in the world.These grow naturally and wild and are hand
picked by trained and licensed collectors.
Although the main stay of the co-operative is still the
Porcini crop in recent years it has expanded into
preserves in Olive Oil all of which are hand sorted and
jared to maintain the highest quality.
Produced for us by Frutibosco,these Baby Artichoke Hearts are hand jarred in olive oil rather than Sunflower oil to give them a wonderful full taste, [ and any left over oil can be drizzled over your salad making a great dressing ].
