Fruttibosco is a small co-operative in the village of
Tarsogno, situated in the Appenine Mountains in
Northern Italy. It is surronded by forests of Beech and
Chestnut that are renowned for the best Porcini Mushrooms
in the world. These grow naturally and wild and are hand
picked by trained and licensed collectors.
Although the main stay of the co-operative is still the
Porcini crop in recent years it has expanded into
preserves in Olive Oil all of which are hand sorted and
jared to maintain the highest quality.
These artichokes are very small ,and therefore more tasty , and are hand jarred by our village Co operative Called Fruttibosco .they are in the finest Italian Olive oil and not in vegetable ,or sun flower oil as others on the market place
Once opened they can be stored for several weeks as long as they are topped up with Olive oil
Any olive oil left can be used to give your salads a wonderful taste.
