Hidden away in a steep valley in the Siera Mountains of Priorat is a small co-operative with 40 very local members. The countryside is very rugged and is steeply terraced with Olive groves which are very difficult to work.The Co-operative members have a total of just over 120,000 olive trees some of which are 200 years old .These olive groves date as far back as the time of the Moors.
Each bottle of Mother's Garden Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Olive Oil carries the date of the Harvest and the bottling date as well as the best before date. Harvesting is carried out around November time right through to the end of January .
