Mascarpone is a creamy fresh cheese from the Lombardy region of Italy, where it is produced with fresh cream, which is seperated from milk by means of centrifugation. Mascarpone has many uses in the kitchen,as in sauces, typical recipes ,cakes ( Tiramisu is one of the most famous ). Its delicate and sweet taste makes Mascarpone excellent as a dessert cheese, which also goes well with fresh fruit.
