Pesto sauce is one of the best well known sauce from Italy, it is a speciality of the Ligurian Region and is an excellent sauce for Spaghetti and pasta of all varieties, just add lightly warmed to your chosen pasta after cooking to your desired taste. It can also be used as a sauce for rice or polenta. Add to soup for a special flavour or to wherever an unusual sauce may be desired.
